Peaceful gardens well planted with fruit trees surround this unique Kodaikanal house. Two sunny rooms with private baths, detached from the main house, make the stay truly memorable. 'Where you feel like a personal friend, not just a guest.' Relax... on the porch, or perhaps in the quiet of the living room where a log fire awaits you on chilly days. A selection of books, newspapers and magazines is at hand.

Set away from the bustle of the town centre, the lush lawns provide many places to relax in the sun or just savor quiet moments alone... wander through the garden escorted by two playful dogs and see unusual organic fruit and vegetables growing.

A delectable full western breakfast using home made cheeses, jams, breads and more is served at 8:30 am in the dining room. A gourmet dinner, using locally grown produce is served in the dining hall at 7:30 pm.

Deposits
One night's deposit is required to hold the reservation, payable within 7 days of booking. Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of deposit.

Cancellations
At least 14 days notice prior to date of arrival is required for refund of deposit less Rs. 500/- cancellation fee. If less than 14 days notice is given, the deposit is forfeited unless the accommodation is rebooked

Phone: The phone in the main house may be used to receive calls.

Parking: Parking is available on the premises.

Laundry: Laundry facilities are available at an extra charge.

Power: We depend entirely on the township power supply.

Making aritsan style hand crafted cheese is part of thedaily life at Cinnabar Bed and Breakfast. Our pamperedcows graze on specially grown grass and yield the finest quality milk; the most important ingredient that we need for making cheese.

Each day our milk is converted into cheese using the age old techniques developed in various parts of the world.

Some of our cheeses are

Cinnamano:A hard Italian style cheese. Cinnabar Colby:A washed curd cheese with a distinctive yellow colour, a creamy texture and a slightly tangy flavour. Cinnableu:A blue cheese similar to the English style Stilton with a rich creamy taste and a clean, lasting finish.
