    Silver Cascade

    It is located on the Ghat Road about 8 km from Kodaikanal. The overflow of Kodaikanal Lake comes down here as sheer drop of 180 feet high falls leaping over a steep cliff, crashing into a pool beside the Ghat Road. Silver Cascade Falls was noted for its erstwhile clean, pure and glittering water and so the name Silver Falls.

    Thalaiyar Falls (or Rat Tail Falls near Dum Dum rock)

    It is also called as Rat tail falls. One of the tallest falls in Asia with a 975 ft sheer drop, it can be viewed from 13th kilometer on the Ghat road to Kodaikanal. As soon as you ascend the Kodai Ghat road, there is a place called 'Dum Dum Rock' View point.
